NaCl Storage Silo – BRENNER MOTORWAY (I)

In 2012, the Brenner Motorway company commissioned AGROTECNICA INTERNATIONAL to supply a silo for the storage of 240 tons of sodium chloride. The silo is constructed from vitrified sheet metal, ensuring long-lasting durability. The plant is fully automated. Each operator is equipped with a recognition and authorization chip for sodium chloride unloading operations. All operational data, such as the quantities unloaded, etc., are transmitted via the Autobrennero internal network to the operations center in Trento. Additionally, the filling level of the silo is monitored, allowing for the scheduling (even automatic) of required sodium chloride orders.
