Silos for Solid or Liquid Salt
De-icing salt can be stored in two main forms: as granules (solid salt) or as brine (a liquid solution of salt in water). The choice depends on the final use of the salt.
Recently, during preventive or de-icing treatments for road surfaces, solid granular salt is increasingly being combined with brine, which adheres to the surface and amplifies the effect.
Brine Production
When salt needs to be used in liquid form, it is converted into brine. Agrotecnica provides the option of a fully automated system designed for this purpose. This automated system ensures the desired mixing ratio between salt and water, guaranteeing a high-quality saline solution at the required concentration.
